Julia grew up in Dunedin, New Zealand, but has been living in the U.S. since 2004. Julia graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA in Anthropology. After finishing her undergraduate degree in Florida, she made the move to Oregon for graduate school. She obtained an MSc in Educational Leadership and Policy. After working in local government in the Portland area for several years, Julia spent four grueling years working full time during the day and attending law school at night. Julia started her own practice after law school. She lives with her wife, Jess, in Southeast Portland with 3 dogs and 2 cats – it’s a pretty crowded house. Julia loves to go camping, kayaking, and hiking with her family.
